Healthier hot chocolate-peppermint

  HEALTHIER PEPPERMINT HOT CHOCOLATE

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 ½ cups of almond milk or coconut milk
  • 1-2 tablespoons of cocoa or chocolate protein powder
  • 1 tsp of vanilla
  • ½ tsp cinnamon 
  • ½ tsp of peppermint extract- optional
  • 1 tablespoon of heavy cream and/or full fat coconut milk-optional
  • Can add a ½ tsp of tumeric-optional
  • Crushed organic candy cane pieces/ whip cream for topping

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Heat almond milk on stove top on low, add extracts and cocoa and stir until warm. Add toppings!
