Almond flour biscuits

Biscuits- made with almond flour

These are gluten free and an alternative to bread. I paired mine with buffalo chicken soup.

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups of almond flour
2 eggs- you can add 1 tsp of ground flax seeds and 2 tablespoons of water for egg replacement.

½ tsp baking soda

1 tsp of garlic powder
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
4 tablespoons of butter-softened
3 tablespoons of cream cheese-softened
½ cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese-optional

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 375  degrees. Mix cream cheese, butter, and apple cider vinegar.  Add in almond flour, baking soda, and garlic powder.
  2.  Add shredded cheese.
  3.  Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spoon small  balls of dough on the cookie sheet in rows approximately 2 inches apart.
    4.  Bake for 10-12  minutes or until the dough is set. Remove them from the cookie sheet and let them cool.  Store in refrigerator after a day or two.
